Another amazing day at Race for the Cure!
I proudly wore my pink Survivor t-shirt and cap with 4 ribbons on the brim symbolizing 4 years of survival. I ran the 5K and was touched by the signs on the backs of so many other runners who were participating in memory of their loved one. The signs that read lsquo;In Celebration Ofrdquo; were especially encouraging and there were many of those as well.
It is always an emotional time and I use it to reflect on my own journey and how grateful I am to be a survivor.
